Wow, summer is almost over. The School year has started for many of the kids and so their different extracurricular activities. We are so ready to start having fun with our sewing projects and this year we have so many cool ideas. Many parents expressed the desire to have more skill building classes every week throughout the year so, this year we are offering BI-weekly classes, 2 hours class every other week of each month. Bi-weekly classes will give the kids the opportunity to sign up also for our 90 minutes workshops offered on the alternate weeks.
BY-Weekly classes are for kids who would like to build their sewing skills. Kids are engaged and working on their project actively for the duration of each class. The Program takes a skill-building approach, starting with simpler projects and introducing new concepts and techniques as students progress.
We have 2 curriculum levels, Crafts workbook level 1 and level 2. These workbooks are written by the owner of a very successful sewing school in Indiana. They graciously sold me their workbooks to use in our studio. I am so excited!

All students will start with level 1. These classes are self-paced so each kid can take all the time they need to finish their project. As soon as a student finished level 1, she/he can start with level 2 (additional $40 for the workbook).
With each workbook, our students will complete 6+ sewing projects.
This year we have a TEEN class for kids 12 + years old. They will also start with level 1 but as they finish their project I will add more advanced patterns.
We are accepting first time sewing kids for this program but they need to take the INTRODUCTION to sewing class prior to the first BI-weekly class. These classes are September 24 or 25.

We need a minimum of 6 kids in each class. If needed we may combine 2 classes and/or create a new one.
