Sewing is a wonderful activity for kids that lets them be creative and teaches a number of valuable skills. That not only enables them to express themselves creatively, but also builds upon skills related to dexterity, design, problem solving, math, and engineering.

Sewing is the same as any other extracurricular activity like piano, dance and gymnastic. It takes practice to be ready to play in a concert, to be in the Olympics or become a prima ballerina.

     

Beginner Workshop

Before jumping into the WEEKLY Classes or workshops, your child can get a feel for sewing machines with a 90 minutes introductory workshop. This workshop will teach them the basics of operating a sewing machine safely and effectively.      

THIS IS A REQUIREMENT BEFORE SIGNING UP TO ANY WORKSHOP  OR WEEKLY CLASSES. $50

WORKSHOPS

Our THEMED workshops are for kids age 7+. They are 90 minutes long and everything is precut for faster completion of the project. Sewing machine, tools,pattern, material and sewing notions are included in the fee. ($65 to $75)

With every workshop our students will get more confident and they will learn more skills. Workshops are perfect for kids who are involved with many other activities. Workshops are fast paced so at the end of each class, they can take home their finished project.

FIRST TIME SEWING STUDENTS NEED TO TAKE THE BEGINNER INTRODUCTORY CLASS PRIOR ANY WORKSHOP.                                                                

BY-WEEKLY CLASSES

BY-Weekly classes  are for kids age 7 and up and they are 2 hour every other week in each month. We follow Peoria School district calendar. If we have a Monday holiday, the class will be the following week. 

First time sewing students are required to take our beginner introductory workshop class prior the beginning of these classes ($50).
